USING THE ARCHIVE

Researchers are welcome to use our unique resources throughout the year. Please note that access is by appointment only and that research space is limited. Individual visitors are welcome on both long and short-term research projects, subject to space availability. We are able to accommodate small groups and tours by special arrangement. Users will find the archive's setting within a 1930s modernist house an unexpected treat. However, because of the nature of the building we have limited space available for research use, and this is currently undertaken within an office environment rather than in a quiet reading area. We make every effort to make our researchers comfortable and to keep noise levels to the miminum, and indeed, the close proximity of a member of staff can prove beneficial to the user.

Please note these are the opening times to access the Dartington Archive, not the opening times to see High Cross House. For High Cross House opening hours click here.
